Dr Sam Saling is the founder and director of Rose Healthcare. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and has worked across a variety of practices in Sydney to hone her craft.

Dr Sam enjoys all aspects of primary care, but has chosen to focus her practice on primary care dermatology, women’s health, preventative health, and child health. She takes a slow medicine approach to prioritise holistic, individualised care for her patients.

Her focus on women’s health includes reproductive and antenatal medicine, postnatal care, and menopause management. She is an accredited antenatal shared care provider with the Royal Hospital for Women, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and St George Hospital, and is confident to provide antenatal care in conjunction with these antenatal units as well as local obstetricians in private practice.

Dr Sam has completed a Diploma of Child Health that compliments her interest in paediatrics. She uses her experience as a mum of young children, alongside her medical training, to best advise on infant and child health.

Dr Sam also has additional training in dermatology and skin cancer management, and has completed a Professional Certificate in Dermoscopy. She is continuously upskilling through Dermatology Australasia, and is mentored by world class dermatologists in Sydney. She performs minor skin procedures including biopsies and excisions, and takes pride in achieving pleasing aesthetic results for her patients using her skills learned while training with both dermatologists and plastic surgeons over many years.

Outside of clinic, she is an Eastern Suburbs local and can be found at nearby beaches and parks running after her two children with a cold coffee in her hand.
